Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Certification Process: Which IT systems to use for IFA versions

The table below indicates the IT systems that can be used for the certification process of the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) versions. Guidance for document upload and certification decision are indicated for each IFA version. IFA v5 has one option for the certification process. IFA v6 has two options for the certification process.

IFA v5.4-1-GFS :

More things to keep in mind when certifying IFA v6 in the GLOBALG.A.P. database:

Upload of AOH audit reports to the database: 

  • the AOH downloadable excel template of the audit report can be used to work off-line, but this template is not editable and does not cover all mandatory attributes and can therefore not be uploaded to the database. However, it is possible to upload the complete final AOH audit report (pdf version, maximum 5 MB file size). 

Upload of checklists to the database:

  • The CB checklists in the CB extranet are changeable, editable and customizable and CBs may add new tabs to them. Mandatory data fields in these templates are marked with asterisk (*).
  • CBs may use their own checklist formats that contain the same mandatory fields as the CB checklists published in the CB extranet.

Translations of checklists to be uploaded to the database:

The CB checklists available in the CB extranet are in English and more languages will be released shortly. CBs are entitled to add their own translation to the English CB checklist in the sheet containing the audit checklist ; translated content may be added from the first unprotected column onward. 

There are two options of adding a translation:

  • Where an official GLOBALG.A.P. translation of P&Cs is available in the GLOBALG.A.P. document center, the CB shall use this official translation and add it to the checklist sheet from the first unprotect column onward **
  • Where no official translation of the P&Cs is available in the desired language, the CB can provide its own translation of the P&Cs and add it to the relevant CB checklist sheet from the first unprotected column onward **
