The Certification Process forms the basis for certification and in the Database it consists of Date of Acceptance (DoA), Date of Audit (DoAudit) and Date of Certification Decision (DoCD).
This process must be correctly mapped in the Database, i.e. the steps must be carried out in the order listed above and entered in order to obtain certification.
The Date of Certification Decision (DoCD) is the date when the certification body makes the certification decision.
For all initial certifications, the DoCD is the “Valid from” date of the certificate and at the same time the starting date („anniversary“) of the certification cycle.
In case of re-certification, the DoCD has no direct effect on the corresponding certificate cycle.
The DoCD is necessary to document the certification process and to correctly calculate the fee.
