CB-Committee is responsible for the certification decision and is therefore allowed to manage the products from acceptance untill certification.
The CB-Committee
Only employees with auditor qualifications can have the CB-Committee role, i. e. the role CB-Committee in the database is in addition to the CB-Auditor role.
CB-Committees are also obliged to perform the Online training (OLT) for auditors. Please, see General Regulations Part III.6.1.a
Please note here that the system is based on the “four eyes principle”, meaning that the CB-Auditor/CB-Inspector will conduct the audit and the CB-Committee will do the certification decision and certify the products in the database (CB-Auditor/CB-Inspector who carried out the audit cannot issue the certificate and be responsible for the certification decision for the same audit).
Tasks:
Manages products (from status accepted), accepts and certifies (depending on the scheme standard configuration). Assigns special product status, enters certificate extension, uploads checklists, does product uploads, search queries, manages GGNs (where at least one product is accepted by the CB), views invoicing.
