SPRING Status

The assessment status for Spring can be checked according to the parameters described below.

You need to pay attention to two columns: the first one is the "Status" in the database (for SPRING, it can be either accepted or assessed) and the second one "Certified/assessed process" shows whether the company that has SPRING assessment is also GLOBALG.A.P. certified.

The column "Status" reflects the status of SPRING.

  • Assessed refers to cases where the producer has been audited, whether they have a compliant status or not. Assessed refers to an Option 1 (individual) or Option 2 (group) certificate holder, but does not refer to members of a group. So, after checking the assessed status, you must also check the next column (the "Certified/assessed process" column) The certificate holder is compliant, the status is assessed and the column "Certified/assessed process" is marked as YES.
  • Accepted has 2 different interpretations, depending on whether the company is a certificate holder or a member of a group, the meaning can be different.

Case 1: For certificate holder

If Accepted is the status of a certificate holder, it means that they have applied for assessment but are not yet assessed. In these cases, the "Certified/assessed process" column is marked NO.

Case 2: For group members

If the producer is a member of a group that has been assessed and that group has a valid Letter of Conformance, then if a member is accepted, they are part of the SPRING program and the product that comes from that member can be considered as a SPRING compliant product. For group members, if they are accepted into a certified group, the "Certified/assessed process" column will be marked YES. The LoC indicates all producers included in the SPRING scope. To know which producer was included in the sample, you need to check the Check List.

There is also a degree of compliance for SPRING. In this attribute, which is product-specific for each GGN.
