Recertification in GLOBALG.A.P. Database through workaround in case of damaged cycle

This article describes a workaround that CBs can execute to enable an extension according to the Newsletter from the 10th of April:

Requirements:

The requirements that enable this workaround are as follows:

• There must be an active current cycle
• The status must show as certified
• The above requirements can be checked as shown below:

The expiry date of the extension should be no more than one week from the date you enter the extension in the system. This allows sufficient time to record the certification decision.

• For example, if you are trying to repair the GGN on 10/04/2025, you can enter an extension valid until 17/04/2025.

Please note that this is not an actual extension, but a workaround to indicate to the system that there is a valid cycle to be certified. Once the extension has been entered, the system will allow you to make the certification decision.

Prpcess:

When the requirements are met, the CB can proceed as follows:

1. Enter an extension under Certification > Extension of Certificate
2. Verify the attributes and quantities in Affiliation > Manage products
3. Proceed with certification

Restrictions  

• The “valid from” date of the current cycle cannot be more than six months in the past.
• The workaround cannot be applied to scenarios where the product shows a certified status but there is no active cycle, as shown below:

Please note that this workaround only applies to the cases specified above. In all other situations, the GLOBALG.A.P. general rules must be followed. Recording an extension without an extension request, or without following the general rules, may result in a sanction.

Los OCs ahora pueden optar por una solución alternativa. Esta solución consiste en una excepción que permite al CB introducir una extensión.

Los requisitos necesarios para reparar un GGN mediante esta solución alternativa son los siguientes:

• Debe haber un ciclo actual (Current cycle) activo
• El estado en la base de datos debe mostrarse como certificado
• Los requisitos anteriores se pueden comprobar con el ratón y se ven de la siguiente manera:

En el caso de optar por esta solución, la fecha de vencimiento de la extensión no debe ser más de 1 semana a partir del día en que ingresa la extensión en el sistema. Solo se autoriza el tiempo suficiente para permitir al OC registrar la decisión de certificación en el sistema. (Por ejemplo, si está intentando reparar el GGN el 10/04/2025, puede introducir una extensión válida hasta el 17/04/2025).

Por favor, tenga en cuenta que ésta no es una extensión real, sino una solución alternativa para indicar al sistema que hay un ciclo válido para certificar. Una vez hecho esto (cuando la extensión se haya ejecutado), el sistema le permitirá tomar la decisión de certificación.

Cuando se cumplan los requisitos anteriormente descritos, el OC podrá proceder de la siguiente manera:

1. Introduzca una extensión en Certificación > Extención de certificación
2. Verificar en Afiliación>Administrar Productos todos los atributos y cantidades
3. Proceda directamente con la certificación

Restricciones:

• La fecha “Válido desde” del ciclo actual no puede ser más de 6 meses en el pasado.
• Igualmente, en los casos en los que el producto muestra un estado “certificado” pero no hay ningún ciclo activo, esta solución alternativa no se puede aplicar, por ejemplo:

Nota: Esta solución alternativa solo se aplica a los casos mencionados anteriormente. En los casos ordinarios se aplica lo indicado en el Reglamento General. Registrar una extensión sin una solicitud de extensión o sin seguir el Reglamento General puede conducir a una sanción.
