Tipps for de-acceptance:
- If you need to de-accept a product of a producer group, first step is to de-accept this product for all the PG members that have it accepted. Please, provide the list of PG members that have the product accepted to the Customer Support.
- If you need to de-certify a product and keep it accepted, please, contact the Customer Support.
- In case if you want to de-accept an extended product, please, contact the Customer Support.
The de-acceptance is possible under the following conditions:
- Mistakes during the registration by accepting a wrong product (e.g. celeriac instead of celery)
- Option 2 member of producer group leaves group during validity of current certificate provided there are not any pending sanctions (see GR, part I, 4.2.2 c)
- Change of legal entity (new tax number) or stop of agricultural activities (e.g. farm has been sold, retirement)
- Company type changes (from producer to producer group or vice versa)
- Change of certification option (option 2 to option 1 or vice versa) E.g. a producer is a part of the group certification with cherries. He would like to get his cherries certified as an option 1 and not to be a part of the group anymore. We will need to de-accept the cherries in the database, afterwards the certification body will be able to certify his product as of an option 1.
- Producer moves to another CB (transfer)
- CB is not going to work anymore with the producer: in this case de-registration in the database can be entered by the CB immediately. However, it will become effective only after expiry of all active product cycles (e.g. status accepted or certified).
- Loss of harvest.
The following example is not the reason for the de-acceptance :
A product that included in the current certification cycle is not harvested anymore. As GLOBALG.A.P. certification refers to a complete certification cycle, there is no need to remove a product from a current certificate that was harvested at the beginning of the certification cycle and is not cropped (harvested) anymore for the rest of the certification cycle.
Example: Annual crops like Lettuce has been certified, but was cultivated/harvested only during the first four months of certificate validity, afterwards producer does not have anymore any lettuce.
