Date of Acceptance

The Date of Acceptance (DoA) is generated as soon as a certification body accepts a product. The first acceptance of a product by a certification body is the trigger of the start of the Product Cycle, which starts on the DoA (valid from) and ends on the DoA + 1 year - 1 day (valid to).

If you put the DoA in the past (up to 360 days are possible), the DoA is still the valid from date that is relevant to the cycle and the cycle ends as usual on the DoA + 1 year - 1 day.

The first Product Cycle adapts to the First Certification Cycle in the valid to.
I.e. it is extended by the time the Certification Cycle exceeds the valid to of the Product Cycle and ends together with it.

The Date of Acceptance must be set before the Date of Audit.

Re-Acceptance

Re-acceptance means that the acceptance date lies withing the cycle of the current/ or if expired previous cycle. By doing this the valid to cycle will remain the same.
